Mangrove Housing is thrilled to announce our planned community housing development for 9 Jasen Street in 2024.  As part of our Forgotten Women Project and in partnership with Government we are pleased to be able to propose 15 x one-bedroom apartments on the site.  

In keeping with its medium density zoning and the goals of the Redlands Housing Strategy for its aging residents, 9 Jasen Street will be developed into one-bedroom apartments to house ‘at-risk’ older women in the Redlands.    


As a code assessable development, we have been working closely with council to ensure that the dwellings are not only fit for purpose for our older women to be able to age in place with dignity, but also meet the requirements of Councils Planning scheme.  Our architects have paid attention to both functionality and aesthetics that not only fit within the landscape but add to the street.  

As a local community housing provider who has been assisting people find suitable and affordable housing within the Redlands for over 30 years, we remain committed to continuing to serve the community now and into the future.
